They Nerfed Energizing Wind!!!!!
I Logged out in the underworld while echo trapping, when I noticed a new build was avaliable and when I logged back in I noticed EW got a HUGE nerf!
This does NOT just effect us solo trappers, but since 4 points in BM now only gets you a 9 second duration on EW it effects trap groups as a whole! Wow I am now really pissed............
13 points in BM now only gets you a 27 second duration.

Next time you log in, change your attributes to something productive, like 12 expterise and 12 wilderness. While you are at that, get a exp hat and a expt rune. Your welcome.

And what exactly does that have to do with anything related to the topic at hand? I've been trapping in the underworld for well over a year now and they nerfed one of the ESSENTIAL skills for ANY trap group!!
How does me putting 12 in expertise and 12 in wilderness survival, buying masks and runes that I already own fix anything?

Pretty sure this was made to whack Thumpers even harder(makes RaO even harder to keep up). Don't remember EW being used all that often otherwise. Then again, don't PvP much myself.

Except echo trappers already use 13 in Expertise and 16 in Wilderness Survival. This change, targeted specifically at killing spiritway and thumpers, has killed solo echo trapping too. So much for the ranger bringing in any cash. Time to make a monk or an ele.

Dammit figure it out, if you don't PvP you aren't important enough to worry about. Your money was nicely accepted and subsequently you were dismissed. Get over it. YOU DON"T COUNT!!! Might as well get used to it. PvP ruins the freakin game!!

If Anet can fix an issue in PvP and eliminate a solo-farming build in one fell swoop, don't you think they're going to? Don't over-simplify this issue and demonize Anet for it. If what has happened to the GW economy happened in real-life, we'd be burning piles of money for warmth. My primary character is a Ranger, and I solo farm too. Regardless, I'm realistic and mature enough to realize its not helping the game at all and that Anet is going to try to stomp it out. Stop freaking out, it just means its time to move onto the next build... and if it makes farming in general harder, well, it may make the game better.

I agree that eliminating solo-farming builds is a good idea, but unless they find a way to eliminate ALL of them. Eliminating one of them, especially from a class that only has a few does nothing but put that class at a disadvantage.

lol the nerf to ew did not effect my soolo trapping still can do it with out ew and qz
called 16 expertise and 15 wilderness not a huge deal to me

plus you can still make ew last long enough if you lay it right and use serphants use +3 onall 3 and a +1 expertise head peicse

I know this is a difficult concept to grab but, NOT EVERYONE LIKES PVP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I hate PvP with a passion. Venturing only as far as AB so i can get and use the faction based PvE only skills. Beyond that PvP can go straight to that hot dark place down below(take your pick which one).

Can we go back to topic... EW has been nerfed and so the whole concept of trapping has been ruined. Dont you see...
EW used to last 37 secs and now it is 9 -.-
DONT YOU SEE THE PROBLEM?! i have trapped for god knows how long and now I find out that the whole concept is just... gone.
You can't lay as many traps as you're screwed with energy.

It's still possible to trap, you just have to 2(with difficulty) or 3 man it.
